The Future

You may have read in the press that we have a new Chairman and Committee at Leighton Town. We have BIG plans and we want your Club to be part of it! As the towns football team we believe that we should create a home for all football clubs where all managers, players and families can come to socialise and mix with other clubs from the town, creating a local football community whilst still enjoying the “banter” of local rivalries.

We are working on an extensive plan to modernise the clubhouse and make it more welcoming to families. We hope this will then create a warm and friendly location for teams to congregate after matches on Saturday and Sunday lunchtimes.

If you decide to join us in uniting football in the town you will need to offer your families a membership. The price of this membership is £10.00. Membership for the player includes;

• A Season Ticket for Leighton Town F.C (worth £35). This entitles your player to free entry to watch Leighton Town’s First Team, Reserve Team and Under 18’s league games at Bell Close. This allows your Child to experience games and see teams that they should be aspiring to play in themselves in the future.  

• Family membership to use the clubhouse facilities.

• Reduced Adult entry to any Leighton Town match of 50% of the ticket price.

• 50% discount on booking the Entertainment Suite for private functions.

We would also like to offer your club the opportunity to provide for 4 games this season (1st and Reserves) the official mascots to lead out the teams. The mascots will also get a free training session from one of the team players (qualified coaches) before the match and also play a mini-soccer match at half-time.

As a Club, we have introduced a Youth Policy which has set ten objectives over the coming five years to help Youth Football in Leighton Buzzard grow and improve.  One of our objectives is to increase our membership and the number of people coming through the gate to support our local Club.  Many sides in the same division as our First Team regularly have in excess of seven hundred supporters and we would love to, with your support, achieve this level of attendance for Leighton Town F.C.  

Our First Team plays in the Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1, which is just three levels below the Conference, and last season they narrowly missed out on a play-off place. We believe the games played at Bell Close are entertaining and of a high standard. Supporters can expect a safe and friendly environment and we hope you will join us in achieving this objective as the Club firmly believes in Youth Football and the Local Community working together to benefit all.

We would love to welcome your club in to our community and help us grown a football culture the town will be proud of.
