What is the Buzzer?
The aim of the Buzzer is to provide a door-to-door service for people who are unable to use other public transport.
The Buzzer serves Leighton Buzzard, Linslade and the surrounding area, extending to Great Brickhill or Stoke Hammond to the North; Hockliffe and Tilsworth in the East, Edlesborough, Eaton Bray and Cheddington in the South and Wing and Stewkley in the West. You can travel anywhere within this area. The service operates Monday to Friday between 8.45 am and 5.00 pm. Although customers may get to Buckinghamshire on the Buzzer Bus - they are unable to be picked up from there.
The buses are fully accessible, even if you use a wheelchair. The Buzzer drivers can escort you to your door, but cannot transfer you or lift you from a wheelchair. A bus and driver is also available for group outings and details are available on request from Buzzer Buses.
Before you can use the service, you must register by filling in an application form. There is a once-only registration fee of £10. If your application is accepted you will be sent a membership letter showing your registration number and you should quote this each time you make a booking.
