Cedars Upper School
Description
Cedars is a large, vibrant and exciting school. Our mission, quite simply is to continue to develop as:
"one of the highest achieving, open, forward looking, creative, supportive, and exciting comprehensive schools in the country"
Learning for all is our core business, and we believe that school, parents, governors and the community must work together for the maximum benefit of the young people entrusted to our care.
There have been many exciting developments at the school, including our designation as a Specialist College for Mathematics and Computing in September 2006.
As a large school, we are able to offer an exceptional range of courses and qualifications and experiences to meet the needs and aspirations of young people. Many adults and students will also participate in community education through our Specialist School community programme.
All of these opportunities combine to support our overarching drive to "Maximise Achievement".
