Situated in the heart of the town, The Red Lion is a beautiful and traditional 'pub' just the way pubs used to be.

With two separate bars, in the old 'public' and 'saloon' style, landlady Gynnie sets very high standards in this immaculately presented hostelry.

It is really refreshing (pardon the pun) to find this grade 2 listed building, which is beautifully enticing to look at on the outside, being run and managed impeccably on the inside.

Crammed full of Olde-Worlde charm, you are assured of a warm welcome and a cosy atmosphere where the good old fashioned (very high) standards of service with a smile, meet with the needs of today's customers.

There is also a covered and heated outside smoking area.

For the connoisseur, there is a very nice selection of both Irish and Scottish malt whiskies and a selection of real ales.

So, for a thoroughly enjoyable lunchtime or evening in a beautiful, warm and friendly, traditional pub, you will not get better than 'The Red Lion' in North Street, be sure and pay a visit soon, we're sure you'll be glad you did.
